IT’S OFFICIAL : THE MOROCCAN BARAE JRONDI, APPOINTED NEW « AZKALS » HEAD COACH !
The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has recently made headlines with their appointment of Barae Jrondi as a new head coach for the Philippine senior national team. At just 29 years old, Coach Barae Jrondi is probably the youngest coaches ever to lead a national football team.
The new head coach will be joining the Philippine national team in Kuwait on March 20th, along with his technical staff, to prepare for their upcoming international friendlies. The team is set to face the Kuwait National Team on March 24th at the Jaber International Stadium, followed by a game against Jordan on March 28th in Doha, Qatar. These games are part of the team’s preparation for the 2026 World Cup match Qualifications phases which will take place in October 2023
Coach barae is currently in a role with the QFA as a instructor/technical supervisor and he has a proven track record in coaching and has worked with several football teams in various countries. The PFF believes that his youthful energy and innovative approach to coaching will be a great asset to the national team.
