He started off at a local Moroccan club named Khemisset in which, he built a team that played to win the Moroccan championship that season. After a long and intense season dedicated to serious work, he honored the club by placing them 2nd in one of the strongest and hardest editions of the Moroccan first division league.
Later on, the warrior took over the reins of a well-known Moroccan club, FUS de Rabat, where he won the CAF, a first in the club history; winning a continental league.
He then joined Alsaad, one of the prestigious clubs in Qatar winning almost all titles with them including the Asian champions league.
He also coached legendary players including Xavi,Raul, and many famous International soccer super stars.
With his strong personality and charisma, he then joined WYDAD Athletic club and won the African Champions league, Moroccan league and also qualified the club to play its first Fifa club World Cup ever in its history.
Leaving WYDAD on a good note, he joined the Moroccan National team of local players winning with them the second Chan in one of the hardest editions of this continental cup, which was organised in the middle of the covid crisis in Cameroon.
With a strong National team of local players, he led them to the Arab Cup organised in Qatar, Doha. The Atlas Lions were placed 1st in the group stages before facing The 2019 African champions during the second round, the Algerian National team of local players which was composed by 80% of the first National team of Belmadi’s squad, including Bellali and Boujnah.
Ammouta’s squad hardly disqualified by the penalty shoot out bad luck.
Months later, after he left his position as head coach of the Moroccan National team of local players he then led les FAR on winning the Moroccan League one of the Askry’s fans favorite title.
With his strong commitment today, he is leading the National team of Jordan to play their first final ever of the Asian Cub with a coaching staff 100% Moroccan. This marks a historic achievement for the Jordan national football team.
His chances are high to win this precious trophy for the Arab world and the Jordanian national team.
